Next Steps for the Sandpit Area

After deciding that we definitely wanted a fort in the sandpit and submitting our designs to the Playground Focus Group, Ashley and Brodie were chosen as the best fort designs. Here they are measuring out the footprint for the fort. Well done you two. It is so exciting to see the ground cleared and things getting underway.

The snow has tried to stop Book Week - but we are smarter!!! It will be next week with all the activities going ahead as planned.

Wet Day Fitness is always a challenge. We had some great ideas to keep us moving even in the wet weather. Here are some of the ideas we came up with for inside fitness ...

FANTASTIC FUN RUN

There was a feeling of excitement and expectation for the 2011 fun run.

After training hard and being one of the first classes to "virtual" run from Picton to Bluff, we were ready for the fun run at Springston Domain on Friday the 17 of June.

What a great course - thanks to Wendy - over jumps, under the parachute and through the mud - so fun!! Then to top it all off the parent-student 3-legged race!!! A great time was had by all.

How to make sloppy, squishy slime.

What you need: bowl, wooden spoon, soap flakes, boiling water

1. Get the soap flakes and the bowl.

2. Use the boiling water and put it in the bowl.

3. Put the wooden spoon in the bowl and mix it for 3 mins.

4. Put it on your hands. Have fun.

We have started Walking or Wheeling to school on Wednesdays. We meet at the domain at 8:15 and then off we go ... here are a few photos of us setting of.

We are back at school!!!

We are back and school after the earthquake and straight into learning. Thanks to all the people who have sent us best wishes. We have welcomed two new children in the class which is very exciting. We love people visiting and leaving us comments, we check every day. Take care everyone : D

BREAKFAST IS BEST!!!

We had breakfast at school today. We came to school in our pyjamas and ate a healthy breakfast to get our bodies fueled up for a great day of learning. After we ate our breakfast and did the dishes we brushed our teeth and got changed into our school uniforms. It was very exciting to come to school in our pyjamas.
