WOWOW

It was Walk or Wheels on Wednesday yesterday and the WOWOW Dog met us at school.
It was great to see him there and we had fun walking and wheeling to school.

Happy Birthday Heather and Eli

It was Heather and Eli's birthdays today - seven years old WOW!!!
Eli bought some gingerbread men to share with the class.
We hope you both had a great day.

The Roof is being Fixed!!!!!

YAY!!!
The builders are here. They are going to replace our leaky roof. We are so excited about that.
We are so Adaptable - we will be working in the library on Monday and then our class will be as good as new.

Handwriting in Room 2

Every morning we do handwriting in Room 2.
As soon as the bell goes we get our whiteboards, pens and rubbers.
Then we write, write, write.
We even have a competition.
We love handwriting in Room 2.

Pet Day 2010

Today was Pet Day at Springston School.
There were so many animals at school and everyone knew so much about their pets.

EARTHQUAKE NEWS

Christchurch, New Zealand, had a massive earthquake on Saturday September the 4th. It was 7.1 on the Richter Scale.

It is now nearly two weeks later and we are still having aftershocks.

Luckily we are all safe but lots of things got broken.

This is what happened to my chimney.

Our Science Celebration

Sure to Rise

Everyone bought chapaties, rolls, bread, pikelets and human being biscuits. I like everything. Everything was yum. I made pikelets. I put in flour, salt, butter, milk and sugar.

I did my science in Room 2. We made chocolate sherbet. It was sour. It was brown. We put in icing sugar, tartaric acid and milo and tasted it.

At the celebration I had fun. I love the bread. I made chapaties. I love chapaties. I was in Sure to Rise.

We made a volcano out of vinegar and out of baking soda. It fizzed and foamed.
